About Us

Christopher's Light was founded by Karen McKendree in the spring of 2018.

Christopher’s Light is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in both Apollo, PA and Saltsburg, PA. Our mission is to help the children in our area by providing educational support, workshops, and necessities for children. All donations received are used strictly for our local children across Westmoreland, Armstrong, and Indiana counties. 

We have been so fortunate to be able to provide these items and services to children with the efforts of our volunteers and the support of our local communities.
